THE BODY OF MESSIAH AND SALVATION
The Book of Revelation prophesies of an epic journey of two rival congregations which come to significantly impact one another on a worldwide scale throughout a 2000-year span of time. The first congregation, the harlot congregation, which is divided into the Catholic and Protestant churches (Rev. 17; 2:20-23), becomes world-renowned and comes to number one-third of the inhabitants of the earth (Rev. 8:6-13; 9:15, 18), over two billion people. The second congregation, the chaste congregation (Rev. 12:1; 14:4; 19:7; 2 Cor. 11:1-2; Eph. 5:22-27), remains relatively obscure and seemingly insignificant throughout the same period of time. Yeshua referred to them as a “little flock” (Luke 12:32). There couldn’t be more at stake; the difference between eternal life and eternal death hang in the balance for the members of both congregations (Rom. 6:23)! Continue reading
