Hidden Treasures
"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter."

tell me something about this
Isaiah wrote, "Behold, the hand of יהוה is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. Your iniquities have separated between you and your Elohim, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that he will not hear" (Isa. 59:1-2). This begs the question, "What is sin?" John answers this very question directly: "Everyone who practices sin also practices Torahlessness, for sin is Torahlessness" (1 John 3:4). Torahlessness means breaking God's commandments.
So, contrary to what many people believe, Yeshua did not interact with sinners, including harlots and tax collectors, because He believed in being inclusive and tolerant of sin. He interacted with them in order to share the message of Good News and call them to repentance, so that their sins would no longer separate them for Him.
Of course, there are times when even repentant sinners miss the mark and sin. Regarding these sinners, John states, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). So, as long as we repent and are striving to overcome our sins, we will remain in fellowship with God (Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 26; 32:5, 12, 21). In contrast, though, those who "practice" sin will not be saved (Matt. 7:21-23; Rom. 1:26-32).
