"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter."
- Proverbs 25:2
tell me something about this
When God created Adam, He blessed him with unmerited dominion over His creation and commanded him to “Be fruitful and multiply" (Gen. 1:24-31) and, in effect, extend his blessing of dominion to all mankind. Likewise, when God creates each believer as a “new man” (Eph. 4:20-24; 2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 6:14; Col. 3:9-11), He graces him with unmerited dominion over the Kingdom of God (Matt. 6:33; 25:34) and commands him to “Be fruitful and multiply” by sharing the good news of the Kingdom of God (1 Cor. 16:8-9; 2 Cor. 2:12; Col. 4:3-4), “...in all the world as a witness to all the nations” (Matt. 24:14), and, in effect, extend His gift of grace to all mankind.
Also, after God blessed Adam with unmerited dominion over the Earth, He commanded him specifically to “tend and keep” the Garden of Eden (Gen 2:15). Of course, if Adam refused to work, he would die physically. Likewise, after God graces Believers with unmerited dominion over the Kingdom of God, He commands us to produce works! If we refuse to work, we will die spiritually. James 2:20 states, “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?"
