Is Yeshua God: From a Typology Perspective

tell me something about this

In Hebrew, Abraham means “father of a multitude.” Abraham had a son, whose name was Isaac. God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son, but just before he did, God stopped him and provided a ram for the sacrifice. Thus, it follows that just as Abraham fathered Isaac, God, the Father, created Yeshua, who was sacrificed for the sins of mankind. And just as Yeshua created the angels (messengers) (John 1:1-4; Col. 1:15-16; Heb. 1:2-3; 1 Cor. 8:6), who are referred to as the “sons of Elohim” (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7).

In Scripture, kind begets kind. So, just as Abraham and his descendants were humans, God and His descendants are all spirit beings and the descendants of Elohim, angels (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7), are referred to as the “sons of Elohim” in the Scriptures. Thus, while typology proves that Yeshua is not Elohim, the Father; it also proves that He is Elohim, the Son. This pattern also proves that Elohim is in the process of creating a family (Eph. 3:14). “who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation” (Col. 1:15-16; cf. John 1:1-3, 14-15, 18; 8:58; 17:5; Phil. 2:5-8).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Apostle Paul revealed a very important principle in 1 Corinthians 15:46: “…the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.” Evidently Paul knew a lot about typology.

The Scriptures tell us that the physical temple was a type of the spiritual temple in heaven (Ps. 78:69). Likewise, it also makes sense that the natural family of beings on Earth, human beings, are a type of the spiritual family of beings in heaven, Elohim (God). Genesis 1:26-27 states, “Then Elohim said, “Let Us appoint man to Our image, according to Our likeness.”

Elohim changed Abram’s name, which means “father,” to Abraham, which means “father of a multitude,” who was a type of Father Elohim. Abraham had a son, Isaac, who he was commanded to sacrifice, who was a type of Father Elohim's Son, the being who later became Messiah Yeshua (John 1:1-3, 14-15, 18; 8:58; 17:5; Phil. 2:5-8; Col. 1:15-16).

So, this begs the question, “Is the Father and the Son the same person,” the answer is “No.” Just as Abraham, the father, and Isaac, his son, were two separate beings, so too are the heavenly Father and His Son. But the typology doesn’t end there. Just as Isaac was a “created” being, the son of Abraham, through childbirth, Yeshua, in His pre-existence, was also a created being, the Son of Father Elohim. In speaking of Yeshua, in His pre-existence, Colossians 1:15 states, “who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation.” (btw, the typology doesn’t end there either). After Yeshua was created, He, in turn, created the angels, (John 1:1-4; Col. 1:15-16; Heb. 1:2-3; 1 Cor. 8:6) who are also the Sons of Father Elohim (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7). Thus, Father Elohim patterned the procreation of mankind after His own heavenly family.
