tell me something about this
Just as Judah was sent into captivity in Babylon when she played the harlot, the harlot congregation was sent into captivity into spiritual Babylon (Rev 17:1-6).

Today is the anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, which began on Halloween, October 31, 1517, the day the Catholic Church, who recognizes herself as the mother church, gave birth to the Lutheran Church. Halloween is the pagan holiday the church presumes to have "Christianized" as "All Saint's Day" in willful rebellion against God (Deut. 12:30).
Revelation 17 is a symbolic, end-of-the -age prophecy regarding this church system. Verses 1 through 6 states, "One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.” He carried me away in the spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the fornication of the earth. And on her forehead a name was written, 'Mystery, Babylon the Great, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS and the Abominations of the Earth.' I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Yeshua. When I saw her, I marveled with great amazement." Verse 18 adds, "The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.” That great city is Rome.
Just as God characterized His people, Israel, as being a harlot during Old Testament times (Isa. 1:21; Jer. 2:20; Ezek. 16; Hosea 2:2-5), He also characterizes His people, the Catholic and Protestant churches, as being a harlot during New Testament times (Rev. 12:1; 14:4, 19:7; 2 Cor. 11:1-2 and Eph. 5:22-27).
The prophecy continues in chapter 18. Verse 4 reads, "I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, My people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues."
In Revelation chapters 8 through 11, God brings these trumpet plagues to bear on four distinct demographics: one-third of the land, one-third of the sea, one-third of the freshwater rivers and streams and one-third of the heavens. In other words, He brings them to bear on one-third of the total population of the heavens and the earth. There is an abundance of evidence to prove that this demographic represents Christianity. David Barrett’s World Christian Encyclopedia is considered to be “the most comprehensive sources of data on Christian denominations around the world.” This journal indicates that the Christian population percentage came to number one-third of the population of the earth in about the year 1900 AD., and has been holding steady until now. Encyclopaedia Britannica reports the same percentages.
The purpose of this post is NOT to condemn the Catholic and Protestant Churches. The Believers in these churches are indeed God's people, but they are also a people in rebellion against God. Yet there is hope! God states, "If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chron. 7:14).
There is much more evidence to address, but only so much can fit in one FB post. I pray that the reader will humbly consider what I have shared, and will search out the truth for themselves. Proverbs 25:2 states, "It is the glory of God to hide a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter." Choose wisely and God will grant you a crown of glory. Amen! Amen!

Christianity is Under God's Judgment
In Revelation chapters 8 through 11, shortly before Yeshua returns in verse 15, God brings the 7 trumpet plagues to bear on four distinct demographics: one-third of the land, one-third of the sea, one-third of the freshwater rivers and streams and one-third of the heavens. In other words, He brings them to bear on one-third of the total population of the Earth.
David Barrett’s World Christian Encyclopedia is considered to be “the most comprehensive sources of data on Christian denominations around the world.” This journal indicates that the Christian population percentage came to number one-third of the population of the Earth in about the year 1900 AD., and has been holding steady ever since. Encyclopaedia Britannica reports the same percentages. So not only does this demographic represents Christianity, it represents Christianity at the end of the age, just before Yeshua returns.
The following data supports the fact that this percentage represents Christianity:
First, in speaking of “Mystery, Babylon the Great,” and her “harlot” daughters (Rev. 17:5), God cries out, “I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, My people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4). A simple search into these symbolic titles will reveal that the Catholic Church recognizes herself as the “mother church,” and the Protestant Churches as her “daughter” churches. Notice that the trumpet plagues are described as being "her plagues."
Second, God instructed the ancient Israelites to blow trumpets for various reasons (Num. 10), including to warn them of the His approach (Ex. 19:16-17, Josh. 6:4-5) and impending judgment (Joel 2:1, 15). In this context, they are blown to warn the harlot-daughter congregations of Yeshua’s return and their impending judgment.
