"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter."

Yeshua Reversed Adam's Curse

tell me something about this

The Scriptures tell us that Elohim created the first man, Adam (1 Cor. 15:45), and gave him rulership over the Earth (Gen. 1:26-28) and placed him in the Garden of Eden. However, when Adam was tempted by Satan, he sinned and became “dead in sin” (Gen. 3:1-6; John 8:21, 24; Eph. 2:1, 5). Elohim threw him out of the Garden of Eden into a cursed Earth (Gen. 3:17-19). Since then, mankind has followed in Adam’s footsteps, because in the Scriptures, kind begets kind. Mankind seemed to be without hope.

Thankfully, Elohim had set up a rematch! About 4000 years later, He sent Yeshua, the second Adam (1 Cor. 15:47), not only to succeed where Adam failed, but also to reverse the curse caused by his sin. As a result, whereas Adam faced his temptation in the Garden of Eden, Yeshua faced His temptations in the wilderness (Matt. 4:1). Whereas Adam was spiritually weak, but physically strong by freely eating the food of the Garden of Eden (Gen. 1:29; 2:16), Yeshua was spiritually strong, but physically weak from fasting in the wilderness for forty days and nights. It is possible that, Adam sinned forty days after his thirtieth birthday, because Yeshua fasted for forty days (Matt. 4:1, 11) after He began His public ministry at about the age of thirty (Luke 3:23).

Whereas Adam sinned after Satan’s temptation (Gen. 3:1-6), Yeshua remained sinless after Satan’s temptations (2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:14). Whereas Elohim drove Adam away from His presence after he sinned (Gen. 3:23-24), Yeshua drove Satan away from His presence after He overcame sin (Matt. 4:10). Whereas Adam ate the fruit from a mixed tree, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, before he died, Yeshua refused to drink a mixture of wine and gall (Lam. 3:5, 3:19, Jer. 8:14, 9:15, 23:15) before He died (Matt. 27:33-34; Mark 15:23). Whereas Adam and, in effect, all his descendants lost dominion over the Earth (Gen. 3:22-24), Yeshua and, in effect, all His true spiritual descendants will qualify to receive rulership over the Earth (Matt. 4:17).

The Scriptures tell us that sin separates us from Elohim (Isa. 59:1-2), so whereas Elohim cried out to Adam, “Where are you?,” (Gen. 3:9) after he sinned, Yeshua cried out to Elohim, “My El, My El, why have You forsaken Me?,” (Ps. 22:1; Matt. 27:46; Mark 15:34) as He bore the sins of mankind. Whereas Adam was spared from shame to the world by being clothed by Elohim after he sinned (Gen. 3:21), Yeshua was shamed to the world by being unclothed as He died for the sins of mankind (John 19:23-24). Elohim caused a deep sleep to come over Adam, and removed a portion of both bone and flesh from His side, with which He created Adam’s wife (Gen. 2:21-22). Likewise, Satan caused Yeshua to sleep in death on the stake, and a Roman soldier speared Him in His side (Zach, 12:10) causing an issue of blood and water (John 19:31- 34), with which Elohim created Yeshua’s wife, remnant Israel. Finally, whereas Adam died for Eve, his wife, “the mother of all living,” (Gen. 3:20), Yeshua died for His wife (Eph. 5:25-26), the mother of all who are spiritually alive in the world (John 3:16).

Notes:

Whereas Adam lost rulership over the Garden of Eden, Yeshua was given a crown of thorns (Matt. 27:29, Mark 15:17, John 19:2, 5), symbolizing the cursed Earth.

Whereas Adam had the freedom to choose his fate, Yeshua’s fate was sealed prophetically (Gen. 3:15) and He was nailed to the stake.

Whereas Adam died and returned to the Earth, Yeshua was lifted up on the stake and lived.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Originally, Elohim gave Satan rulership over the Earth. He was the ruler (Heb. 2:5; John 12:31; 16:11; 14:30) and elohim of this world (2 Cor. 4:4). Sadly, though, Satan sinned and because he chose not to repent, he disqualified himself as Earth’s ruler (Isa. 14:12-14; Ezek. 28:12-17). So, Elohim had to replace him. To this end, Elohim created the first man, Adam (1 Cor. 15:45), and gave him rulership over the Earth (Gen. 1:26-28) and placed him in the Garden of Eden. When Adam was tempted by Satan, whose motive it was to win back his authority, he too sinned (Gen. 3:1-6). As a result, he was thrown out of the Garden of Eden into a cursed Earth (Gen. 3:17-19). And so it was that Adam failed to qualify as Satan’s replacement! And since then, mankind has followed in Adam’s footsteps, because in the Scriptures, kind begets kind. mankind seemed to be without hope.

Finally, whereas Adam loved Eve, his wife, so much that he died for her (Gen. 3:6-13; 1 Tim. 2:14), Yeshua loves the Body of Messiah, His wife, so much that He died for her (John 3:16)!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Scriptures, the term "sleep" is used as a symbol of death (2 Chron. 14:1; Ps. 13:8; Jer. 51:57; Job 14:12; Dan. 12:2; Matt. 27:52; Acts 7:60; 1 Cor. 7:39; 1 Thes.4:13; John 11:12-13) (Joh 11:14). Genesis 2:21 reads, "יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept, and He took from one of his sides, and closed up the flesh in its place. Genesis 2:21 In verse 23, Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh…,” meaning that Elohim took two elements from Adam, bone and flesh, not just bone in the form of a rib. Also, the woman was created from the man’s side, to be his “helper” (Gen. 2:18), from under his arm to be protected, and from next to his heart to be loved (Eph. 5:25; Col. 3:19). While Adam slept God pierced his side in order to give life to his wife, Eve! (Gen. 2:20-22) Likewise, after Yeshua died (John 19.31-34), he was pierced on His side in order to give life to His wife, the Body of Messiah.
