Welcome to Hebrew Roots Restoration

After being rejected by the Jews (John 1:11), Yeshua (Jesus) built His congregation (Matt. 16:18). Later, Gentile pagans infiltrated it (Jude 1:4), and they rose to positions of power, resulting in the prophesied apostasy—the great falling away (2 Thess. 2:1–4). As a result, Yeshua's congregation was split in two. One of the congregation is portrayed as a chaste virgin (2 Cor. 11:2), a remnant of Yeshua’s original congregation. The other is described as the great harlot who had several daughters (Rev. 17), representing mainstream Christianity, the Catholic Church, and her daughter Protestant Churches. For the past 2,000 years, the harlot and her daughter congregations have persecuted, murdered, and scattered true believers, both physically and spiritually. Consequently, the chaste congregation has remained relatively obscure (Luke 12:32), while the harlot and her daughter congregations now account for one-third of the earth’s population.

As the end of the age approaches, we find ourselves in the midst of the “Greater Exodus.” Just as God called the Israelites out of Egypt—who received plagues—He is now calling His people out of mainstream Christianity, which will likewise receive plagues (Rev. 9-10). In Revelation 18:4, God cries out to His people in those congregations, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues" (Rev. 18:4).

God is also shepherding us back to the First Century "...faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3).

After God delivered the Israelites from Egyptian bondage, He took them into the wilderness to enter into a covenant with them based on their obedience to His Torah (Ex. 19:3), His commandments, statutes, and judgments. Likewise, as He delivers us from the spiritual bondage of mainstream Christianity and leads us into a spiritual wilderness where we finally commit to keeping His Torah. This Torah-observant group of people is known today as the Hebrew Roots Movement. God is separating us from mainstream Christianity, not only for the sake of our own salvation, but also to do His will as expressed in Revelation 18:4 above by calling "His people" to repentance.

James wrote, “Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins” (James 5:19-20). Today, Hebrew Roots believers are the only faith-based group being faithful by calling mainstream Christianity to repentance.

Leviticus 19:17 states, “You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.” Hebrew Roots believers are often criticised for not having love for mainstream Christians. However, the truth is that they are guilty of what they are accusing us of.

On the topic of salvation, we believe that it is experienced in two steps: justification and sanctification. Justification is the one‑time act of accepting Messiah Yeshua as Savior and, as a result, being “saved” from our “sins that are past” (Rom. 3:24–25). Sanctification is a lifelong process of keeping the Law through a living faith (James 2:17) and overcoming sin to the end, when we receive salvation.

We are the only people calling mainstream Christianity to repentance.

Today, this faith includes believers whose heart's desire is to learn Scripture from a First-Century Hebraic perspective.

Hebrew Roots is not a religion, but a spiritual grassroots movement without established local congregations.

Isaiah 58:1 states, "Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.”

Hebrew Roots is not a religion, but a spiritual grassroots movement.

THE GENESIS CODE: THE END FROM THE BEGINNING

Featured Book

In Isaiah 46:9-10, God states, "...I am El, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning..." A careful examination of this declaration will reveal a hidden code in the Book of Genesis (Beginnings). This code is based on the seven days of creation and corresponds to seven spiritual equivalents, beginning with truth and culminating in salvation, as illustrated in the image to the left. Incredibly, this code proves to be the key to unlocking significant, end-of-the-age Bible prophecies, such as the great tribulation, the abomination that causes desolation, and the second Exodus, etc. The fact that God is revealing these prophecies now indicates that we are living at the end of the age (Dan. 12:8-9).

THE PARABLE
OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN

Featured Article

The Parable of the Good Samaritan, recorded in Luke 10:25-37,  is one of Yeshua’s most beloved parables. Over the years, ministers have shared it with their congregations, hoping to instill in them a greater sense of brotherhood and compassion. While this teaching is commendable, the parable contains a much greater significance based on the Hebrew Roots of the faith. First, Paul tells us that Yeshua’s sacrifice was “once for all” (Heb. 9:11-12). However, the parable tells us that the Good Samaritan, who symbolizes Yeshua, made three payments for the care of the man who was left half dead. This raises the question, "Why?"

ETERNAL LIFE: HARMONIZING YESHUA, JAMES, AND PAUL

Paul wrote, “Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law” (Rom. 3:28; cf. vv. 21-22; Gal. 2:16) In contrast, James wrote, “...by works, a man is justified, and not only by faith” (James 2:24). At first glance, it appears that they are contradicting each other. However, a closer examination will reveal that their statements on justification are actually in complete harmony. Peter noted that some of Paul's letters contain difficult teachings that “…untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction” (2 Pet. 3:14-16). This suggests that we would do well to strive to understand Paul’s statement in its proper context.

Welcome to Hebrew Roots Restoration

As the mediator of the new covenant, Yeshua declared, “I will build my congregation…” (Matt. 16:18), which is also referred to as the “Body of Messiah” or the “Israel of God” (Gal. 6:16) by the New Testament writers. Initially, the Body of Messiah consisted solely of a remnant of Israelites, including the twelve disciples and the 120 Believers who entered into the new covenant with God (Acts 2). After Yeshua's ascension, the good news was shared with the Gentiles (Acts 10:9-36, 44-45; Rom. 11:13; Gal. 2:7-10). The Gentile congregations raised up by Paul were described as “...imitators of the congregations of God which are in Judea...” (1 Thess. 2:14).

Over time, many converts gained positions of authority and incorporated many elements of their pagan festivals, images, idols, rituals, and traditions into the true faith. This mixing of faith is explicitly forbidden in Scripture (Deut. 12:29-32; Jer. 10:1-5). Jude urged God's people "...to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For there are certain men who crept in secretly, who were long ago written about for this judgment, irreverent men, transferring the grace of our God to licentiousness, and denying our only Lord, God, and our Master, Yeshua Messiah” (Jude 1:3-4).

Soon after, false leaders transformed a significant portion of the faith into what later became known as the Roman Catholic Church. The title “Catholic,” which means “Universal” in Latin, reflected the church's intended meaning when it seized authority under Emperor Constantine. Those who refused to conform were declared "anathema," cut off from God, and subsequently persecuted, killed, and scattered.

As a result, the Body of Messiah split into two congregations. One is referred to as a "little flock" (Luke 12:32) and is portrayed as the chaste congregation (2 Cor. 11:2; Rev. 12:1; 14:4; 19:7; Eph. 5:22-27). The other is described as “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth” (Rev. 17:5). For the last 2,000 years, the chaste congregation remained relatively obscure (Luke 12:32), while the harlot and her daughter congregations grew to account for one-third of the Earth's population.  This massive group is the Catholic Church and her daughter congregations. Revelation 18:4, he adds, "I heard another voice from heaven, saying, 'Come out of her, My people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues.'”

As we approach the end of the age, many mainstream Christians are experiencing a spiritual awakening. God is leading them to seek "the ancient paths" (Jer. 6:16) and to return to the First Century Hebraic Roots of their faith. This remarkable, prophetic awakening has manifested itself in what is known as the Hebrew Roots Movement, which is a grassroots movement without local established congregations. Just as God took His people into a wilderness, where He prepared them to enter into the Promised Land, He is also bringing us into a spiritual wilderness, where He is preparing us to enter into the Kingdom of God.

I believe that God has called me to be a part of this movement and to share what He is teaching me, which is why I have launched this website in support of it!
